![]() ![]() ![]() If you or anyone else is interested in seeing a demo of this working I can possibly whip up a video, but it is relatively simple setup. The free (unlimited) trial of VirtualHere only allows one usb device to be shared but in your case seems like all you need. Then on any of your network devices, you just install the client, and it will show a list of the USBs available to connect to, you then connect to it and it makes it show up like a local usb. I have my wide-format printer and my cutter in another room connected to a raspberry pi 4 (can be any device that can connect to your network, wired or wireless, including lower end laptops, I just have a bunch of Pi 4s) that shares its USB devices over the network to ALL network connected devices. There is another solution that instead of using a dedicated laptop for SS and its by using a piece of software called VirtualHere, and its actually what I use in this exact situation.
